This course provides participants with the knowledge and auditing skills required to assess Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS). The course is designed in line with applicable Exemplar Global competency requirements. Successful completion supports the formal training requirements for individuals seeking professional auditor certification, subject to applicable certification criteria.

• Application of the PDCA cycle in BCMS auditing.

• Auditing ISO 22301:2019 standard requirements.

• Key changes from ISO 22301:2012 to ISO 22301:2019.

• Auditing Business Continuity Management System documentation.

• Auditing principles and guidelines under ISO 19011.

• Auditor roles and responsibilities, audit planning, audit checklists, and nonconformity reporting.

• Audit reporting and communication of findings.

• Closing meetings, follow-up verification, and audit records.

• Practical exercises, case studies, auditor competence, and certification requirements.

• Course examination and competency assessment in line with applicable Exemplar Global requirements.

Who Should Attend This Course?

Anyone who is or aspires to be:

• A Third-Party Assessor or Lead Assessor of ISO 22301:2019

• Responsible for undertaking audits of suppliers/subcontractors as per ISO 22301:2019

• Responsible for implementing internal audits and audit programs as per ISO 22301:2019

• Responsible for implementing the ISO 22301 series of standards

Course Outline

• The course starts at 9:30AM. and ends approximately at 18:30PM. Maximum attendance is 12 delegates per tutor and a maximum of 20 delegates with 2 tutors.

• Lunch Break: 45 min.

• Coffee Breaks: Mid-morning & Mid-afternoon (Max. 10 min. each)

• Pre-course information is sent to delegates approximately a week prior to the beginning of the course
